Lake Borabay

Lake Borabay, 63 kilometers from Amasya and 15 kilometers from Taşova, is a barrier type lake. The neighbourhood of the lake is a frequented place for the locals and foreign tourists as well. Lake Borabay, which is the most outstanding lake in the city, has an altitude of 800 meters and an area of 270.000 square meters. It is 30 meters deep. The lake is a natural wonder, surrounded by a variety of resorts.

Çaykara – Uzungöl

Çaykara – Uzungöl, 100 kilometers from Trabzon and 20 kilometers from Çaykara, has the highest tourism potential in Trabzon. The lake which took its shape by the natural blocking of the river-bed after a landslide, exhibits a magnificent sight with the surrounding cistus forest, in Haldizen Valley. The lake which is famous for its trout, is 1000 meters in length, 500 meters in width,  and 15 meters in depth.

Gölcük

The lake, which is 13 kilometers from Bolu, was an artificial   barrier type lake. The lake covers an area of 45.000 square meters and its around is 1.200 meters. The view of the  lake under the snow is magnificent with pines and fir-trees around it. Many people from that region and even from Ankara and Istanbul visit the lake daily for picnic and resting. The wooden pier on the lake is the symbol of Gölcük.

Lake Karagöl

The volcanic lake of  2,35 hectares, is 70 kilometers from Ankara and 27 kilometers from Çubuk.
